White Oak Sink

This is not an officially maintained trail of the Great Smokies National Park, but it is one of the most spectacular spring time hikes. There are several ways to get into the sinks. One of the main ways is to walk down School House Gap trail a little more than a mile. Then find an unmarked man way that will lead to the sinks. It's best to go with someone who already knows the way. You can get lost.

There's a waterfall, there's caves, there's wild pig traps and thousands of flowers.
