Rabbit Creek Trail to Scott Gap

Distance: Approximately 5.4 miles (round trip)

Elevation Change: 800 feet

Rating: easy to moderate

Driving Time: 1 Hour

This is an in and out hike. The Trailhead is located across from the Ranger Station at Abrams Creek Campground. The trail, somewhat, follows the ridge line of Pine Mountain with an elevation change of 800 foot; and offers enhanced views (weather permitting) resulting from the blow down of trees as a result of the storm this past April.  The tread way is fairly wide and smooth.

Hiking boots and hiking/trekking stick(s) are recommended.  Bring ample water and a trail lunch.

Driving Directions: To be provided the morning of the hikes.

Car-pooling is recommended and will be set up the morning of the hike. Passengers are asked to contribute  $3 to the driver to help cover gas etc.
